Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is here, following up the 2021 Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Was it worth the wait? Does the film properly utilize the likes of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson? Well actually...no. Not at all. Frozen Empire is an uninspired, formulaic slog with too many damn characters. It doesn't openly disrespect the underlying franchise like so many other films and shows are want to do these days, but it's just not a good film. It's a noticeable step down from Ghostbusters: Afterlife which wasn't held in all high a regard to begin with.
