There are those in society who work tirelessly to achieve their goal. Be it exerting control over others, shaming and blaming people into submission or casting those with whom they disagree into a wasteland of silence. These individuals, and sometimes groups, are worthy of recognition of the highest order. That is why we have developed the GoFY, to celebrate those who have contributed so much to the soul crushing exploits of fearmongering, cowardice, hatred and divisiveness. Those who exhibit the exceptional talent to earn a GoFY will be forever looked upon with disgust and contempt. The accomplishments that they have achieved on the road to this prestigious award separate them from crowd of normalcy and elevate them to the status of extraordinarily brilliant morons.
