How effective is blocking trafficking, damaging priceless art, and just being overall cry babies?

I'm all for making the planet a better place, but some of these "activists" are completely nuts. Holding up traffic, keeping hundreds of cars in the same place, idling and wasting gas, in order to #juststopoil. Or super gluing to the roads and art gallery walls so they can't be removed. This is one of those times that the messenger is really ruining the message.
