Marshal Shaposhnikov 543 - Russian Destroyer Is Armed to the Teeth after being Reborn

2020 - Video Credit Asian Defense | Dung Tran Military - The Marshal Shaposhnikov is a Russian Udaloy-class anti-submarine destroyer, launched in 1984 and entered service with the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy in 1985. As a ship with 35 years of naval service history, the Marshal Shaposhnikov is an outdated ship with no potential for large-scale renovation or upgrading.
Consequently, the Marshal Shaposhnikov became the first Udaloy-class destroyer to upgrade and modernize. On 10 July 2020 the Marshal Shaposhnikov started sea trials after receiving upgrades.
After being upgraded, Marshal Shaposhnikov has a full load displacement of 7,900 tons, a length of 163m, a beam of 19.3m, and a draft of 7.8m. Source http://tiny.cc/DungTranMilitaryBlog
