Convincing Proofs Fro the Resurrection

For centuries there have been people who have tried to undermine the Christian faith by using deceptive persuasion. At the heart of these attacks is a lack of faith and a belief that the Holy Bible is not God’s word. A few years back an unscholarly book came out entitled, “The Passover Plot.” The primary thesis of this book was that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was a hoax. More recently, a fictional book called “The DaVinci Code,” came out and sold over one million copies. Unfortunately, the fact that it is fictional escapes many. In the book, the author mixes a little truth in with a lot of falsehoods. Sadly, the faith of many is being challenged because of a lack of true knowledge of just how rock solid the Christian faith is. Today’s message is designed to further equip Christians to know what they believe and why they believe it. It is also designed to provide a cogent defense for the foundation of the Christian faith to the genuine seeker of truth. Let’s take a look at some of the convincing proofs that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is God and that He died and rose again.
