The Rant -Too Much Media?
The media has been focusing on giving celebrity status to individuals suspected of committing violent crimes, which is unethical and insensitive to victims and their families. This sensationalism has led to a culture of glorifying individuals who are suspected of committing heinous crimes, with their names and faces plastered on news and social media. This has created a fan following for these individuals, who may even idolize them. However, the media fails to acknowledge the impact of this coverage on victims and their families, as the focus is often shifted to the perpetrator, causing their suffering to be overlooked. This distorts the public's perception of criminality and undermines the severity of the crime committed. The media's focus on the suspects also hinders the investigation process, potentially compromising the case and jeopardizing the safety of witnesses and victims.
