*Burn survives his battle, breaking through the enchantments of the Skin Weaver and striking a deadly blow straight to that monster's chest. Instantly, the Skin Weaver falls, revealing its true form in the process, but it was not due to his skill alone that made Burn triumphant. The Ancient Axe took over in ways it never had before, bonding with Burn so deeply he forgot where his arm ended and the weapon began. In truth, Burn more closed his eyes, then stayed alert, letting the Ancient Axe lead since it could see through every illusion while he could not.
However, even in death, the Skin Weaver remains a threat. Out of its wound springs a foul spider, and then another, the Skin Weaver finally revealing that it was never one beast but many.
