The Horses of Bryant St 1961 - Athol, MA

Howard and Muriel Briggs had horses on Bryant St along with other residents. That was there place on Bryant Street in Athol, MA

The horse being harassed was Prince, he was owned by our friend of the family Gladys Ann, Unfortunately we don't remember why he was with our horses but it was discovered at this time, our harassing horse Eustace, was not gelded like he was supposed to be when my Howard bought him so he ended up being "fixed" at a later date. The Pinto horse is "Lady"

The house with the kid in the window was the home of Will and Mary Briggs. When they passed away, Uncle Bill took it over and that child was either one of his or one of his grandchildren (my 2nd or 3rd cousin either way).

The calf's name was "Pearl' she had a male twin whose name has been forgotten, the mother was a Jersey named "Duchess"
