Kari Lake, who ran for Governor in 2022, is now running for US Senate in Arizona once again in 2024. Meanwhile, she was sued for defamation by an election official Stephen Richer because of Lake’s complaints about the 2022 election. Lake “conceded” the defamation suit, so it will go straight to damages. This means the case will go into discovery to establish damages, and this is where it could get interesting.
