Just a short catch of CSX moving a train toward Chicago. The New Rock Sub (former Rock Island) provides access to Chicagoland from the southwest. CSX shares the track with Metra between Joliet and Chicago and Iowa Interstate for the entire length of its New Rock (named for the Rock Island) trackage from North Utica near LaSalle, IL to Blue Island, IL.

I do not know the inner workings of CSX using trackage rights on the BNSF Racetrack. I seldom see CSX on this line, but that does not mean they don't use it. If anyone knows the backstory (@PCBill0622 ?) put it in the comments for all of us to learn!
