(2/10/20) Malliotakis Pushes de Blasio on NYC's Out of Control Spending & High Property Taxes

At the New York State Budget Hearing on Local Governments, Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis questioned New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on the city's bloated budget and skyrocketing property taxes. Malliotakis pushes the Mayor to implement a 2% cap to the property tax levy to provide relief of low and middle income property owners who are struggling to keep up with the rising property taxes that have resulted from the Mayor and City Council increasing the property tax levy by 50% since the de Blasio administration has taken charge.
