Migrants in Ciudad Juarez navigate border perils in bid for asylum in the Unites States

Hundreds of migrants arrived in Ciudad Juarez and are camping along the Rio Grande while they wait for the opportunity to cross into the United States at night undetected by the Texas National Guard. Using wire cutters, migrants are slicing through chain-link fencing and barbed wire before making a dash towards the border wall, intending to surrender to the Border Patrol to begin the asylum process.
