Jeremiah 25 verse 30

The periods of Divine judgment referred to as the "Days of the Lord" are seen in many parables, in which the flesh (nature) is destroyed so that the Spirit may be saved.

Eze 20:37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

1Co 5:5 To deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
