Thinking About Thoughts

What we usually call 'thinking' is often a kind of speaking by, and a listening to, the multiple voices of our consciousness.

What if you do not have such thinking or thoughts? Or the ability to even comprehend the concept e.g. aphantasia. And what is really known about thinking of thoughts?
