Eleanor Hill Opening Statement: Afternoon Session (9-18-2002) (A Breakdown)

Eleanor Hill, Staff Director for the Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities before and after the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001, gives an opening statement for the afternoon sessions of the day's inquiry which took place on September 18th 2002. I give additional commentary thru-ought the video. Hill gives a statement about the intelligence services thru-ought the 1990's regarding intelligence which reported on the extremist organization led by Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and their attempts to attack US interests abroad and inside the country using airliners as the weapon while intentionally crashing them into sensitive and popular targets. I give my thoughts.
