Also fulfilled the Abrahamic covenant. Jesus was the LORD (Jehovah) himself come in the flesh. A note to Roman Catholics: Mary is NOT to be worshipped, prayed to, looked to for salvation and she is NOT a "co-mediatrix" with Jesus. Bowing to images of Mary and praying to them is IDOLATRY.
