Consider Christianity

The quote, “It ain't those parts of the Bible that I can't understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do understand” is attributed to Mark Twain. To many today the stumbling block to embracing Christianity is, well, Christianity, or at least the cultural narrative they have heard about Christianity and embraced. Rarely is the question asked, “How do I know it isn’t true?” Answering this question really begins with four life questions. Origins, “where did I come from?” Meaning, “why am I here?” Morality, “Why should I live any way at all?” Destiny, “Where am I going when I die?” Answering the questions requires more than embracing the latest popular narrative. In the process of seeking answers, Trent Blake suggests that they “Consider Christianity.”
Trent Blake is an evangelical Christian, author, and apologist. His passion is to glorify God through a life lived in light of the gospel. He is the general editor of Baseline Christianity and the author of Consider Christianity: Using Evidence to Examine the Religion of Jesus.

Trent is 24 years old, earned his Biblical Foundation certification from Word of Life Bible Institute in 2018, received his BA in Integrated Ministry Studies from Moody Bible Institute in 2023, and is currently working towards his Master of Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Trent is married to the wonderful Sarah Blake and lives in Kansas City, Missouri.
