Yuichiro Tamaki - CPAC in Japan 2022
12
Yuichiro Tamaki, Japanese Representative, speaks on the state of the Japanese economy. He calls for economic stimulation. He proposes lower taxes to encourage consumption along with a new tax system that will promote corporate investing. He also believes in investing in human capital through initiatives like education. Japan is lacking in natural resources and their greatest resource is really its people. Thus, Tamaki argues that the government should invest in its people. Overall, Tamaki desires increased government spending to bolster both the economy and national defense. Increased tax revenue even with lower taxes and selective government spending will support an enlarged federal budget.
