Red, White & Rude - Sheila Jackson Lee Branches Out into Astrophysics

Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) seems to have taken on a new role as a self-proclaimed astrophysicist, in addition to her prominent position in Congress.

In her latest lecture, she graces us with her "expertise" on the moon, claiming that it provides energy at night and is primarily composed of gases.

She also cautions us about getting too close to the sun, as if we needed her warning to know that the sun is hot. It's quite amusing to see her attempt to educate us on basic astronomical facts, but perhaps she should stick to her day job, writing laws and spending tax dollars.
