[67-69 Surah Al-anfal] It is not right for a Prophet to keep captives

[67] It is not right for a Prophet to keep captives unless he has battled strenuously in the land. You desire the gain of this world, while God desires for you the Hereafter-God is mighty and wise. [68] Had it not been for a writ from God that had already gone forth, you would have been severely punished on account of what you took. [69] So eat of that which you have gained in war as lawful and good, and fear God. Surely, God is most forgiving and merciful.
