State Battles are Winning the Fight for Life

The ACLJ celebrated a significant pro-life triumph when the Arizona Supreme Court removed an injunction on an abortion law within the state. The case arose when Planned Parenthood Arizona contested a law that bans abortion except to save the mother's life. This law was first enacted in 1901 and reaffirmed in 1977, subsequent to the Roe v. Wade decision by the U.S. Supreme Court.
