As a Gold Star Father, Steven's dedication to honoring his son Nicholas's memory is unmatched. He founded Big Nick’s Ride for the Fallen, the largest annual charitable motorcycle ride on Cape Cod, to honor Nicholas and all who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Additionally, Steven hosts the largest blood drive on the Cape and Islands for Cape Cod Healthcare every February on Nicholas's birthday, ensuring his legacy of service and giving back lives on.

Steven is renowned for his efforts in organizing community fundraising and awareness events, including the YPD BLUE 5K Run for a Reason and the First Responder Appreciation Freedom Ride.
