Jordan Colbert is a credentialed Assistive Technology Professional serving as the Associate Director of Assistive Technology at Yale University and is the President of A-TEAM Professional Consulting. Hailing from outside Atlantic City, New Jersey, he identifies as and is proud to be a biracial first-generation and low-income graduate. He received his B.A in Classical Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC). He started his career in Accessibility Services at USC in 2015 providing academic accommodations to students with disabilities. Prior to working in the field of accessibility, Jordan served as a psychotherapist with high school students and provided Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to substance abuse populations. He has also produced three audiobooks and has contributed to the #1 Amazon Best-Seller book “A Black Man’s Point of View.”
