University of Nevada, Las Vegas shooting campus vigil: a tribute to slain Prof. Naoko Takemaru

Three professors killed on the December 7, 2023 campus shooting are memorialized by the UNLV community and dignitaries, including Governor Joe Lombardo and Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman. Here, student alumnus Devon Whitaker pays tribute to Dr. Naoko Takemaru, who taught all levels of Japanese language and culture at UNLV and recently was awarded the premier teaching award from the College of Liberal Arts. 12/13/2023.
