Suspect is shot at by Harris County deputies team when he pointed a BB gun at officers

A man is in jail following a disturbance call at a home in east Harris County.

Harris County deputies responded to the call around 10:20 p.m. Thursday night in the 17000 block of Sunshine Street. Upon arrival, two residents, a woman and child, exited the home.

The woman said the suspect, confirmed as her husband, was allegedly still armed in the home. Deputies commanded him to exit with his hands up.

The suspect then opened the garage door with a weapon in his hand. He was ordered to drop the weapon but refused.

Deputies fired shots at him before he finally dropped it. He was arrested with no further incident.

No charges have been filed at this time.
