This is the Former NEWS CENTRE site, Hilsea Portsmouth, as at 9th April 2024. The local Newspaper, plus sever National titles were once printed here.

All of the old building is now gone & the site is now being cleared, ready for the construction of a new bus depot, for a fleet of new electric buses.

A bit of a controversial subject, as opinions were split around the city, about the demise of the old NEWS Centre, particularly the iconic frontage, although the building had been empty for several years beforehand, plus the fact that electric buses or other electric vehicles are not everyone's cup of tea!
