This week's video is all about How To [Make Money Trading in April 2024]. Today, we'll be looking at the performance of the markets in April using a new graphic from investing.com. You can access this graphic and their article on the best times to trade stocks via the link in our notes. As we discussed last week, spring in general tends to be a positive time for the markets, and April stands out as the most positive month in this period. In fact, for the past five years, April has been the strongest month, even better than March. This trend has held since 1950, so we have every reason to expect a nice, positive month in April.

However, looking ahead to May, we see a drop-off in market performance. This is due to the popular saying of "sell in May and go away." So, while we can expect a nice grind upwards in April, it's important to protect your profits and take them before we hit the sell in May and go away crowd. But overall, April looks like it will be a great month for the markets with the potential for more all-time highs.
