Milton's Intergalactic Friendship

Milton Robinson is a 79-year-old widow and lives alone. He often attends city council meetings and receives help from his daughter. One day a UFO lands in your backyard and a small humanoid alien creeps out. She tries to ask for help, call the police and her daughter and bring her up at the city council meeting, but they think she's senile.
Milton brings in the stranger who doesn’t communicate and treats him like a guest, gives him a tray of assorted food, but realizes the stranger only drinks water and eats apples. Sandy, an acquaintance, stops and discovers the stranger and tells Milton to keep him a secret for his own safety. Joyce, another old woman discovering the stranger. The stranger is starting to repair his boat, but it doesn't seem to be moving fast. Milton's daughter finds out about her father's antics and writes him a mental examination telling him his abilities are rapidly declining and they should consider assisted living. This upsets her and goes crazy.
