Iran launches hundreds of missiles, drones in first direct attack on Israel

Israel's War Cabinet is meeting in Tel Aviv to decide how to respond to the unprecedented Iranian missile and drone attack overnight.

It was the first time Iranian weapons have directly targeted Israel from Iran.

The Iranians say the attack was in response to Israel's bombing of their consulate in Syria two weeks ago - and the killing of Revolutionary Guard commanders.
