I`ll Rise When The Rooster Crows is a traditional American Folk song. The Binkley Brothers Dixie Clodhoppers recorded this song in 19 and 28. I play it two finger thumb lead on the mountain banjo. If the banjo sounds quieter lately it`s because I stuffed a huge car wash sponge in the back to cut down on the overtones and volume. Also I`ve started adding more compression so I can crank the volume really loud without clipping. It`s all a work in progress folks. Thanks for listening.
