However, there is one issue that divides America more than any other, and that issue is class. The gulf between working/middle class Americans and the elite upper-class has been growing wider and wider over the past two decades. It has created a populist, anti-establishment, uprising that explains the rise of Donald Trump. The evidence of this is that Donald Trump is doing better with working-class voters of color than any Republican candidate since Richard Nixon. These voters find more commonality with other working-class voters voting for Trump, than they do with upper-class voters supporting Biden.
