My Freedom Scorecard is Up and Down Like a Yo-Yo

I presume I must once have assumed I was free, in a manner of speaking and it is an odd sensation to feel that freedom viscerally threatened. Day to day my hopes of getting it back go up and down according to what is happening. A lot is said, on both sides, but the I look to the movement on the ground for any sense that our attackers are retreating and/or the people are rising or rejecting. I hope and work for victory and wholesale change but keep a weary eye for defeat or ignominious armistice.
