Chainsaw Milling: Making 4x4s

Today I cut up two more 8ft logs around 16 and 18" in diameter. I cut a third into 1" planks that was 10" wide. The 4x4 actual dimensions will be used as landscape timbers after getting scorched by the torch.

It was a beautiful day up in Port Sanilac, Michigan on the Thumb Coast!
