The Palm Beach Years - 2 year extended working vacation SPRING BREAK - The Breakers Resort 5 Star / 5 Diamond Rating. Working as one of only 2 straight waiters in the Beach Club. I was working in the Beach Club when The Prince ( assholio ) and Princess Dianna had an extravagant dinner party in the main part of the hotel - during which time a certain Donald Trump ( from the Southernmost part of Palm Beach Island met the future Queen Diana ( perhaps his real wife and mother of Barron - many physical similarities to both possible parties. 1985

Amazingly, in 1986 I was working my second job as a desk clerk at the Palm Beach Hilton when a little nerdy man in a brown suit walked up to the desk and demanded his room key ahead of being checked in. I told him he needed a credit card and I was in an altered state….

We started arguing loudly and I called him an asshole !!

Turned out he was John McCain !
He jumped up and down - hopping mad and I was pretty high and started laughing hysterically. All the while he started screaming- Don’t you know who I am ?!?!

One thing many of you DO NOT KNOW ABOUT PALM BEACH ( dig this ) there is a massive KENNEDY ESTATE on the North side of the Island. I would know. I once took two girls skinny dipping in the Atlantic Ocean directly out from their house. The sand wasn’t as soft as the Hotel Beach in the middle of the Island however.

Even then, back in ‘86 I grinned realizing that we were far far far from being the first swimmers to ever frolic and splash around out there like Sea Otters wearing just our “ birthday suits “ !!
