The Milgram Experiment

"The Milgram Experiment" in obedience to authority by the doctor of social psychology Stanley Milgram (1961), indicated that most people can be expected to obey the authority's orders when put under pressure even if it's against their conscience. Milgram worked at Harvard and had sent a formal application to, and was funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), which itself receives supplementary funding from the US intelligence community.
