JADE and Dimetrius have been together for a year. Jade is a furry and content creator which Dimetrius helps out with, alongside his full-time job. She has been a furry for over five years and it has become a major part of her lifestyle. She’s spent over $25,000 on fursuits and has travelled for multiple conventions. The couple recently started living together and have decided to venture out from her usual posts to support themselves: "We make adult content with fur suits," Jade said. They are harshly criticised on social media for their decision to do so. Comments include: "all furries should be burned at the stake", "he's a dog f*****", and claims that they are attracted to animals. But for Jade, "the most important thing is when the support comes in from [Dimetrius] and he helps me, he's there for me, he supports me through everything." Dimetrius had a message for those casting doubts around their new income stream: "I'd say to anybody judging us, look at yourself first, because you see two people that are happy." He has lost some of his support network because of his girlfriend's alter ego. "Friends? I don't really have any left from them finding out," he explained.
