Generational Curses - Do you need deliverance?

In modern Christian culture, especially within Pentecostal and charismatic communities, the doctrine of generational curses emerged as a teaching to explain how sin, suffering, and personal struggles are understood. It provided a framework for interpreting ongoing issues like addiction, disease, and other personal or family challenges as spiritually inherited afflictions that require spiritual solutions—namely, targeted prayer, fasting, and sometimes exorcism.
