Bodycam shows rescue of a man stuck under pier in Manhattan

Police and fire crews in New York City rescued a man they said was stuck in cold water underneath a pier in the Hudson River on Tuesday, April 16.

The bodycam footage, released by the New York Police Department, showed several rescuers lowering themselves into the water and helping the shivering man out with a ladder.

In the video, the man could be seen on a stretcher after being rescued from the cold water, and according to the New York Fire Department, the man was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital.
