Joy Reid Gloats: "My DEIs" Are Going After Trump

MSNBC Host Joy Reid expressed her delight that former President Trump is being prosecuted by what she terms her “my DEIs.” “My DEIs are bringing it home,” she said triumphantly. Of course, she was using that term ironically, because she so resents how conservatives have started to use “DEI” as a kind of pejorative, in one of those instance in which language is flipped and reappropriated. It’s kind of a beautiful thing actually, and the left appropriates terms too.
