BREAKING! FBI warns China will launch MASSIVE cyberattack on U.S. (4/18/2024)

(April 18, 2024) Chinese Communist Party hackers have burrowed deep into U.S. critical infrastructure and are waiting "for just the right moment to deal a devastating blow," FBI Director #ChrisWray said on Thursday during a keynote speech at #VanderbiltUniversity, and that an ongoing Chinese hacking campaign known as #VoltTyphoon has successfully gained access to numerous American companies in telecommunications, energy, water and other critical sectors, with 23 pipeline operators targeted.

(This week 5 States had their 911 systems shut down. Was that a test run?)

Director Wray said, “China is positioning its enormous hacking enterprise, remember 50-1, for more than just the outrageous theft campaign I just described a few minutes ago. It’s using that mass, those numbers, to give itself the ability to physically wreak havoc on our critical infrastructure at a time of its choosing. The PRC has made it clear that it considers every sector that makes our society run, fair game."

He added that China’s “plan is to land low blows against civilian infrastructure to try and induce panic and break America’s will to resist.” Earlier this year, the FBI director speculated that a cyberattack against the US could come right before a possible Chinese invasion of Taiwan, which he believes could impact a US response.

Director Wray said Chinese hackers is one of the FBI’s top priorities (No longer White Nationalists or MAGA extremists?)
