"Up NEPA" is a chant/phenomenon common in Nigeria, celebrating the restoration of electrical power after an outage. Due to insufficient power generation, transmission or distribution, load shedding in many regions is a necessary evil to cope, and this load shedding may be complicated by electrical infrastructure overload or damage.
