Women's Handgun and Self Defense

This course was designed by women, for women, and covers all skill levels — whether students are seeking to begin, improve upon or add to their firearms know-how. Students will learn about handgun safety and fundamentals while also exploring situational awareness, common types of handguns, ammunition types, firearms-handling skills, marksmanship skills, defensive pistol fundamentals and the use of deadly force.

Students will learn basic handgun safety, operation, nomenclature and fundamentals.

This course offers students a feeling of empowerment through education and training. It will help new gun owners alleviate any anxiety or fears they may have about working around or with firearms.
