Puritans and Separatists in Reformation England (Thanksgiving Lectures, Pt. 4)

In this video we examine the relationship between Puritans and the Church of England during the reigns of Queen Elizabeth and King James, as well as the emergence of Separatism among nonconforming Puritans. In 1606 a Separatist congregation formed in the village of Scrooby, pastored by John Robinson and meeting in the manor of William Brewster. In 1607 the congregation fled England for the Netherlands.
