Vince takes Miranda and Zaeed into the maximum security space prison - Purgatory. Cerberus has negotiated with the prison warden to release the convict Jack into Shepard's custody. Having been incarcerated before, Vince ignored Miranda's nagging and chose the prison first, because one of the contacts was an inmate there. Vince wasn't going to let a potential ally rot in a cell.
