Is God Just Saving Us from What He is Going to Do to Us?

One of the many false accusations mockers make against God is that He is only saving us "from what He is going to do to us if we don't worship Him". There is a two-minute answer to this question, but the 32 minute answer is glorious and a major theme of the New Testament which is under-taught, having to do with the origin of the Law and the role of angels.
