Homeworld 3 is a 3D real-time strategy game set in space, developed by Blackbird Interactive and published by Gearbox Publishing. It is the fifth game in the Homeworld series and is set 100 years after the events of Homeworld 2. The game features an extensive campaign mode, giving solo gameplay an important role. Combat gameplay is built around an effective 3D ballistics system, a hallmark of the series. The official description states, “Cycles of plenty and war have come and gone. Now the Hyperspace Gate Network is catastrophically failing and Karan, who has passed into myth and religious idolatry, is the key to the mystery threatening a galaxy’s future.”
