Does The Haunting Stand The Test Of Time?

Remakes are always a tricky proposition. Some of the greats, both in the horror genre and elsewhere, are actually remakes, whether they are loose ones or not. 1999 happens to be one of the most packed years for movies ever, but how does The Haunting, one of the biggest releases of that year, hold up?
