In Genesis 12, God calls Abram to leave his country, family, and father’s household and to go to a land that He will show him, beginning a life marked by faith and obedience to God’s will. This chapter introduces the Abrahamic Covenant, where God promises to make Abram into a great nation, bless him, make his name great, and make him a blessing to others.
