North Korea Tests New 240MM Multiple Rocket System | Kim Prepping Arms For Putin’s War In Ukraine?

North Korea tested new 240mm multiple-launch rocket systems, manufactured at its new defence enterprise, KCNA reported. North Korea’s latest arms tests took place on April 25 and were attended by the country’s leader Kim Jong Un.
The weapon could bolster Pyongyang’s ability to attack Seoul and may also become a weapon Kim attempts to sell to Russia, Bloomberg wrote.
In February, North Korean state media reported that the country’s National Defence Academy had designed a new 240mm guided MLRS munition. Kim said the new rocket system will "bring about a strategic change in strengthening our military's artillery capabilities," KCNA reported.
The test-firing showed the rockets met the required standards for flight characteristics and accuracy, KCNA wrote.
