The Conifer Tuft (Hypholoma capoides) is a wild mushroom/fungus/fungi that grows on decaying conifer wood in the autumn and winter. Conifer Tuft can be found in North America, Europe, and Asia and is also known as the Smoky-Gilled Woodlover, Brown-Gilled Woodlover, and Smoky-Gilled Hypholoma.
